The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that approximately 1 million people die each year from suicide. The biggest question is, what drives a person to commit suicide? Well, each of them has their own reason. But if you’ll summarize all their reasons, it’s depression and despair. Charlie Chaplin said, "Nothing is permanent in this wicked world - not even our troubles.” It takes courage to face your problems. Everything will be alright, just have the courage to face it. You’ll never find happiness if you keep looking down. The best thing about time is it moves. It moves so you can try to face this world without having a suicidal thought. Think about your family, your friends, and yourself. The biggest loss you will have. You will waste a very priceless gift, and the biggest regret you’ll ever make. If you have a friend who have suicidal thoughts, go talk to them. Take them seriously. It’s not just a warning. It’s their way of crying for help. Tell them that you care. Tell them to smile, even if it’s hard. If they keep smiling, they’ll find that life is still worth while. Support them in all their hobbies. Try to make them feel comfortable in this world. Make them feel welcome. Remind them that they are not alone. The best way to talk to them is letting them know that you care. Listen to them. Be sympathetic and offer them hope. Your skin isn’t paper, don’t cut it.
Your face isn’t a mask, don’t hide it. Your size isn’t a book, don’t judge it Your life isn’t a film, don’t end it Anonymous
