4/3/2018 Message from the FEU Diliman Grade School Salutatorian (Batch 2018): Lindsay Chris T. VerdilloRead Now Good morning everyone. This has been a very tough time for this year’s batch. As said by Albus Dumbledore from the Harry Potter series, “Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one can only remember to turn on the light.”, and I would want to thank everyone who were part of that happiness. First of all, I would want to thank my classmates, dear friends and teachers, who gave me joy, knowledge and eventually, I was able to improve my confidence and persistence to everyone. Despite the ongoing misunderstanding situations and problems, we were able to finally overcome those challenges and finish the year. Thank you to my parents who supported and motivated me, together with my naughty siblings whilst my father is working abroad. Even though I was not able to achieve you prayers and wishes, I still tried my best and I made you proud. I would thank the Almighty God for guiding us through the difficult adventure that we had, and we will encounter. I experienced upsetting failures and difficulties throughout the school year but I neither regretted it to myself nor to the Lord because I know He has a better plan. Without Him, I never realized how much faith and hope in God is truly important and how it affects our lives. Lastly, I thank FEU Diliman for molding me as a better person and I will always remember the memories we all made. Thank you, congratulations to us, graduates and God bless us all. Have a good day.
*This was delivered by Lindsay Chris Verdillo during the Baccalaureate mass of FEU Diliman Grade School last March 22, 2018.
